For private classes, our training schedule is flexible to fit your needs. You can choose your start date and select the time slot that is most convenient for you. Classes are available Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You should anticipate a waiting period of one to two weeks between the registration and the first class.

It’s difficult to provide a precise estimate here – each person learns at their own pace and some learners already have a leg up when they start. We work with each student to set realistic objectives, adapt our approach to his or her needs and provide support each step of the way.
In an ACA class, students speak roughly 80% of the time, and not just about what they did during the weekend. Conversation activities (oral expression and listening comprehension) are structured to allow you to maximize your progress. You will learn the theory, complete practical exercises and take part in dynamic communication activities that are based on real-life situations. Depending on your objectives, classes may also focus on other points like writing or specialized vocabulary.
Most of our instructors have a university degree or relevant experience and/or training. Some instructors have been fortunate enough to grow up in a bilingual environment, allowing them to master both French and English.
No, our classes are offered online for maximum convenience and flexibility.
It’s always a good idea to be prepared to take some notes, either on paper or on your computer.
To start the class, you simply need to click on the protected meeting link that will be sent ahead of time.
English classes are recorded and can be referred back to later on.
Depending on your needs and preferences, you may opt for private, semi-private or small group classes.
General language courses are offered in groups of 3 to 5 participants.
Of course! Please note however that we must first make sure that all participants have a compatible language level.
Yes, we assess all students before courses start to make sure we form groups of participants of similar language abilities.
Yes, each participant will receive their own progress report that details their growth and participation.

We are aware that life can throw our schedules a curveball from time to time, which is why we offer you different options to make up classes you were unable to attend.
General English small group classes: ACA offers one make-up classes per session for small group classes. Get in touch with us for the schedule and registration.
General English private classes: You can ask your instructor to postpone a class as long as you give at least 24 hours notice. However, please note that we must charge for classes canceled without 24-hour notice.
