It’s difficult to provide a precise estimate here – each person learns at their own pace and some learners already have a leg up when they start. We work with each student to set realistic objectives, adapt our approach to his or her needs and provide support each step of the way.

It will be as customized as possible. Our teachers not only provide high-quality training based on the fundamental principles of the English language, but they also strive to create a connection between the class materials and the client’s reality. While our instructors are not experts in your professional sector, they will help you learn the vocabulary you need at work. Your employees will acquire strategies to create a daily practice of English, which will help them perform better at work.

Most of our instructors have a university degree or relevant experience and/or training. Some instructors have been fortunate enough to grow up in a bilingual environment, allowing them to master both French and English.

The majority of our classes are delivered online for maximum convenience and flexiblity. In-person classes at your company may be available under certain circumstances.

To start the class, you simply need to click on a protected link that will be sent in advance.

Our online language training is available in three formats – private, semi-private (2 participants) or small group (3-5 participants) classes.

Private classes: This format focuses on a single person’s needs, which enables faster progress.

Semi-private classes: Learning in duo is an interesting option for colleagues who want to discuss the same topics and improve similar skills.

Small group classes: This format brings together three to five professionals who share compatible levels and objectives.

Yes, each participating employee will receive their own progress report that details their growth and participation.

Business English or French courses: Please get in touch with us to tell us about your needs, objectives and availabilities. If your employer has an agreement in place with ACA, your human resources department may also be able to answer your questions.

We are aware that life can throw our schedules a curveball from time to time, which is why we work with you to establish the training schedule according to professional obligations. If an employee needs to be absent from a course, simply notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Private lessons can be postponed to a time approved by the instructor and your employee. Group classes will continue as scheduled unless the whole group decides to postpone the class.

ACA has developed educational materials to support your learning and practice, including the following tools:

  • MINDI: Online learning platform
  • ACA Skills Books with exercises and activities

Most of our instructors have experience working in a variety of sectors. While we cannot claim to employ professionals from all industries, we can assure you that all our instructors speak the language of business. With the help of their instructor, your employees will acquire the functional vocabulary and language abilities needed in your industry.
